Bloggy blog
Working on photographing more beautiful Small Victories for your eyes, but in other news:
Last night's First Thursday was so much fun and such an awesome introduction for us to the neighborhood. Tribute Gallery's March show, curated by Ashley D'Avignon Goodwin features Molly Landreth (Seattle), Amelia Tovey (Sydney, Australia), Rachel Papo(NYC), Carmen Winant (San Francisco) and Sarah McKemie (Tulsa).

Featured Piece(S!): Focal Length Design camera lens bracelets by Issac Watson

Isaac Watson's bracelets are an exercise in simple brilliance. The epitome of "why didn't I think of that?" So simple, beautiful, and just really freaking cool, Isaac recycles these bracelets from old camera lenses, making them the most perfect sustainable gift for anyone you know who loves photography. Or anyone you know who just likes looking awesome. Have I used enough hyperbole already? Isaac is also one of the hardworking folks behind the IHeartArtPDX event tonight.

Featured Piece: Tea Set by Heidi Sowa
Local Portland artist Heidi Sowa references nature in her ethereal porcelain works. This pale blue tea-set really personifies the concept of Small Victories, giving life to every-day objects.

12 piece tea set, 1 pot, 5 cups and saucers to match each. Other work available by Heidi include petite "petal" bowls, similar to the cup-saucers pictured above, jars, bottles and platters.

Today marks our 1 week Anniversary. Whew, how time flies! In honor of this remarkable achievement, we are offering 15% off all items with little blue dots. The dots are so cute, you can keep them too if you like.
In the next few days, we will start featuring Small Victories artists and pieces here, among the many other things that make us happy.
Speaking of things that make us happy, it was warm enough to keep the door open all day. And also, we finished our tiny window display:

clockwise: cursive design, noemiah jewelry, a alicia accessories, michelle summers ceramics, lost machine, pigeon toe ceramics, naolab, heidi sowa
now to do something about that glare ...
